How much does it cost?
The Scope has a fixed price, which we tell you upfront. The Build has a fixed quote. Maintenance is a subscription. In the form we ask for a budget range, "I don't know yet" included.
How long does it take?
The Scope takes 2 weeks, 1 if it is the audit of an app you already have. We set the weeks of the Build in the Scope, together with the quote. During the Build you get a version to try every two weeks.
Who owns the code and the accounts?
You do, from day one: repository, Apple and Google accounts, database project and domain, together with the app's other services. The costs of these services, if any, are yours.
What happens after delivery?
Delivery is the submission for Apple's or Google's review, for the app stores and for the internal app on iPhone; for the internal app on Android and for the web app it is the day the app is available to you. From then, for 30 days, fixes are free. After that, if you want, Maintenance keeps the app up to date.
Does it have to go on the app stores?
No. In the Scope we choose the channel together: App Store and Google Play, an internal app that only your company sees, or a web app installed from the browser, when its features are enough. The first release is included on any channel. The fees of Apple, Google and the tools for managing company phones, the enrolment and verification of your accounts, and the review times and outcome remain with you; for the web app, also domain and hosting, in your name.
What about my users' data?
In the Scope and during development we work on dummy data. From the start the contract includes the data processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR); from the first access to production we act as data processor on your behalf.
Are there incentives?
In Piedmont there is the "Voucher digitalizzazione PMI", a non-repayable grant from Regione Piemonte and Unioncamere Piemonte for small and medium-sized enterprises that introduce digital technologies. It can be requested by a micro, small or medium-sized enterprise, including a professional practice, with its registered office or an operating unit in Piedmont. Some sectors are excluded. Among the eligible costs, the call includes software, if it serves to introduce one of these technologies. A custom app or software can count among the costs, if it serves to introduce one of these technologies; this is assessed, as part of the review of the application, by a committee of Unioncamere Piemonte and Regione Piemonte. Only costs invoiced and paid after the application is submitted count. The text of the call, FAQs and forms are on the Unioncamere Piemonte website, on the page "Bandi per contributi".
